Welcome to St. Philopater Church

The Coptic Orthodox Church!

Clergy is the generic term used to describe the formal religious leadership within a given religion. Clergy usually take care of the ritual aspects of the religious life and spiritual teachings.

The head of St. Philopater Church Clergy is our beloved pastor Fr. Youhanna.

Our church we are blessed with a staff of men and women who love the Lord,  follow His teachings, and obey His voice.

The word deacon is derived from the Greek word diakonos (διάκονος), which is a standard ancient Greek word meaning “servant”, “waiting-man,” “minister” or “messenger.”

One commonly promulgated speculation as to its etymology is that it literally means ‘through the dust’, referring to the dust raised by the busy servant or messenger.

At St. Philopater church we have a dedicated group of deacons that love God and love to serve His word.

St. Philopater church started on Jan 1, 2000.
